Final preparations for the first ever UK pro surfers flowriding championships

With just 24 hours to go until the first ever UK Pro Surfers Flowriding Championships at Retallack Resort & Spa, Cornwall (2pm-11pm), the competition has been given an extra edge with the news that British & European champion longboarder Ben Skinner has been added to the competitor list, in addition to Swiss female champion Celine Gehret and Irish surfer Nicole Morgan. The majority of the professional surfers taking part in the artificial wave event have been taking advantage of practice sessions on the artificial 12m wide wave and Ben is among those looking strong ahead of the inaugural competition.
Organized
by the UKPSA and run in association with the Gul Night Surf Event, the Flowriding
Championships at Retallack is set to be an unusual and exciting event, with a
special set of judging criteria having been drawn up with the help of
Retallack’s Flowrider®
staff. A £2000 prize is pot up for grabs
and the men’s roster includes the following:
