Hollaboxx has teamed up with socially responsible theatre company Rogue Theatre, to provide opportunities for aspiring filmmakers to film the Port Eliot Festival from July 23-25, giving the nation the chance to watch daily highlights of one of the Country’s most magical festivals.
The Port Eliot Festival is set in one of Cornwall's most beautiful estates and due to the increasing interest year on year has confirmed acts for 2010 including Jarvis Cocker, Jakob Dylan (son of the legendary Bob Dylan), Hugh Fearnley-Wittingstall and will host performances from heaps of famous authors and writers.
Rogue Theatre, the groundbreaking Cornish theatre company have setup TwentyFive, a performance tent especially for the festival that will host performances from emerging artists aged 25 and under. Their aim is to help break these stars and get them seen by the festival revellers, many of which will be actively working within the creative industry across the UK.
The collaboration with Hollaboxx, will further showcase the positive activities that young people are involved in throughout the county. Those involved with the TwentyFive tent will be able to pick up cameras courtesy of the Chew TV Network and roam around the festival filming whatever appeals to them. Seletcted footage will then be broadcast on Hollaboxx TV each evening, showcasing the event from the view of a young person.
