A Little Info on the work of Eden Project I Cape Farewell Collaboration

The Eden Project is collaborating with Cape Farewell, a project to bring artists, scientists and communicators together to pioneer a cultural response to Climate Change. The Cape Farewell, Eden Project collaboration is an exciting venture which brings Cape Farewell’s experiences in the Arctic and the Andes to Cornwall. At the same time the collaboration grows artworks up and out of the Eden Project site.

The Bi-ot’ik (The phonetic spelling of biotic: a community of all the naturally occurring organisms in an ecosystem, together with the physical environment) Weekend presented some of the best performance work by Cape Farewell and Eden Arts Café musicians and a four-day camp for all our collaborators to come together and explore new ideas.

This is a documentary that follows the opening of the flow rider machine; many professional surfers attend to make it a more memorial day. The documentary views peoples attempts on the surfing simulation many agree that it is a lot more difficult than surfing itself, but the surfers seem to be up to the challenge. The film is very well documented and is very professional. I think that this film is very interesting and encourages people to want to get involved with this new sport. It is very well edited; the skills on show are fantastic and again encourage people to get involved, which seem to be the main task of the film, although it does not tell the viewer more information to get involved, location etc. I think this film give people who may not particularly like sports but which to try something new. The soundtrack to this film links with the subject well, very upbeat and ties in with the rest of the film very nicely. Well done.
